Almost every wheel alignment machine we ship ends up being one of two layouts: a single screen on a compact cabinet, or a dual screen setup with a large main display plus a smaller secondary monitor.
What the second screen is actually for
On a dual screen machine the main display faces the technician working at the front of the vehicle. The secondary monitor is normally positioned so the customer, the service advisor, or a second technician standing beside the car can see the same live readings.
That matters in a busy shop for two reasons:
- You stop repeating yourself. Instead of reading numbers off the screen and relaying them, everyone is looking at the same thing.
- It sells the job. When a customer can see their own toe and camber values change from red to green, approving the alignment is a much shorter conversation.
When a single screen is the right answer
If your bay is small, if the machine is for your own shop only, or if you are buying for a market where price is the deciding factor — a single screen machine does the same measuring work. The measuring capability is identical; what changes is how the result is presented.
A note on measuring accuracy
It is worth knowing that the measuring specification is the same across our alignment range. The difference between models is the display, the cabinet and the additional functions — not the accuracy of the alignment readings themselves.
